Our farm is based on growing fine vegetables, all 12 months of the year, using intensive, sustainable management practices.  The majority of our product come from the 5 large hoop houses on our property. We only use solar enery to heat our hoop houses and huge amounts of recycled organic matter (compost) to provide fertility. 
 
We are looking for an Intern or Farm Assistant for 2012

Markets/Sales
 

We enjoy selling directly to the public. This gives us an opportunity to exhibit, sell, and discuss the fine vegetables we grow.  Everyone who sells at the markets have been involved with the production of the vegetables.

 

Durham Farmer's Market

Winter Hours 

Saturday Market: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Farmers Market Pavilion on Foster Street. Our blog (tinyfarmhome.com) describes the variety of vegetables and fruits we will bring to market each week.

On Farm Sales

 

On Saturdays and by advanced arrangement on other days, produce is available at the farm for pick-up.  We ask that you email your order in advance to that we can have our products ready.  CLOSED SUNDAYS!

Free delivery on Tuesday morning for Durham and Chapel Hill.  Friday delivery is available for Duram.  Minimun order amount is required, based on distance from Farm. Call for details.

  
Weekly Veggie Boxs available for $15
 
No large upfront payments.
 
Each week we offers a box of Tiny Farm's best vegetables!  We supply 3-5 different vegetables, which a focus on leafy greens for salads and cooking.
 
Sign up for a 12 week period - purchase at least 10 weeks and your $30 deposit is returned. Just email or call (24 hours in advance) if you want to skip a week or two.
 
You can order more than 1 box (get some for neighbors, family or friends) and pick up at the Durham Farmers Market Saturday or at the farm, 5 or more boxes to one location - we will deliver! 
 
Special arrangements can be made for groups of 5 for more!  Call or email Mark.
